ट्रेनों की ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम (Train Operating System) बढ़ाने और एडवांस ट्रैफिक मैनेजमेंट सिस्टम (Advanced Traffic Management System) लागू करने की दिशा में इंडियन रेलवे (Indian Railways) ने अब एक बड़ा कदम उठाया है. इंडियन रेलवे ने ट्रेनों की ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम को और एडवांस कर दिया है. रेल मंत्रालय की पहल पर आईआईटी दिल्ली ने रेलवे के रन ट्रेन सॉफ्टवेयर को अपडेट किया है.
